It is best to eat these foods raw if you can in order to get the most vitamin C because many cooking methods can decrease the vitamin C content. Boiling is the worst culprit since the water can extract vitamin C from foods. We recommend that you try quick heating methods, such as blanching or stir-frying.
4. Healthier looking skin
Vitamin C is very important for your skin health. It is integral for the production of elastin and collagen, which are two main fibers, known as connective tissue. Wondering why is this important?
